Ingredients Needed
- Boneless chicken (Cubes)- 1/2kg
- Fettuccine Pasta (Any brand) ( I used Dececco, it’s an Italian Brand available in the UK)
- Garlic (Chopped) – 2 Tsp
- Mushrooms – 6
- Butter – 2-3 tablespoons
- Dried Parsley – 1 1/2 tsp
- Basil dried – 1 tsp
- Oregano – 1 tsp
- Chilli Flakes – 2 tsp
- Black Pepper – 1 1/2 tsp
- Soy Sauce – 2 tablespoons
- Mustard Paste – 2 tsp
- Lemon Juice – 2 tsp
- White Flour – 3 tablespoons
- Milk – 2 Cups (Warm Milk)
- Cheddar / Parmesan Cheese – 1/2 cup – Grated
- Salt – To taste
- Parsley leaves – To Garnish
Method : The method involves three quick steps, and then the final assembling of the pasta.
For the Chicken
Marinate the chicken pieces in salt, Garlic, Black pepper, Mustard paste, Soy Sauce, Chilli Flakes, Lemon juice, Oregano and Basil Powder. Marinate for 20 minutes and fry in a drop of oil. Keep aside.
For the Pasta
Boil your Fettuccine Pasta with salt water and rinse out with cold water and add a few drop of Oil to it, so they don’t stick to each other. Keep them aside.
For the Mushrooms
In a pan take 1 tbsp butter, add Chopped Mushrooms, chopped garlic, Black pepper, salt and Basil powder. Fry slightly and take out in a bowl.
For the White Creamy Sauce
In the same pan add Butter and flour. Mix for a few minutes and add warm milk right after. Be quick in stirring so lumps don’t form. Keep on mixing. Add 1/2 cup of Parmesan and (or) Cheddar Cheese and mix till it’s a thick white creamy textured sauce.Now add all the Italian spices (dried basil, parsley and Oregano), Black pepper, Chilli flakes. Now add the fried chicken pieces and mushrooms in butter sauce. Mix well. Serve and garnish with chopped parsley leaves.
