Good food is a definite source of happiness. While we get busy in our daily life and work routines, it is important to indulge in some good food dining with your friends an family and give your self that well deserved break.
I love to explore new eateries, different menu’s and flavors. Since a few weeks i was meaning to try out this highly spoken about Italian Eatery called VAPIANO here in Edinburgh, UK. Finally, my lucky day arrived where i was invited to try out their menu and it has got to be my Best Birthday Gift- As i it was my Birthday.
We were warmly welcomed upon our arrival and were briefed about the different items on the menu. The Interior is super vibrant, with happy vibes and a well lit place.The music played is a definite mood lifter. Small green plants at every station is a good sight – giving the fresh vibes.
Food is freshly made in front of you, with fresh Italian herbs and ingredients. Loved how the VAPIANO Team were super helpful in helping us and we were briefed to order at different stations.
We Ordered :
1. Barbecue Chicken Pizza
Baked to perfection, this pizza had the perfect ration of sauce and toppings with the perfect sweet and sour kick to the sauce flavor. The cheese just melts in your mouth making you want to get another slice. My husband loved this and kind of ate half of this himself. (Haha)
2. Vegetarian Lasagne with a side of Balsamic Vinegar Salad
Pure comfort food, filled with rich Flavor, the Vegetarian lasagne was a delight to eat. The crispy baked layer of cheese followed by layers of mushroom and tomato goodness was perfect enough to take us straight to lasagne heaven.
3.Estiva Pasta
This was my personal winner. Felt like i was in Italy with the rightly spiced pasta and the sun-dried cherry tomatoes and chicken seasoned to perfection.
4. Bruschetta Gamberetti
I have never had this good of Bruschetta’s in life ever before! Well toasted Ciabatta Bread with seasoned tomatoes and Olive oil with grilled King prawns was divine. Fresh and filling. Perfect to start off your meal with, these are too good! The slight tangy flavor of the tomatoes with the golden crispy bread is a perfect combination.
5. DOLCI’s – Crèma Dí Fragola & Death by Chocolate Cake
To end our excellent main course dishes, it was time to add some sweet to the palette. Freshly made desserts won our hearts. Fresh Crèma Di Fragola with Strawberries was the perfect balance to sweet and slight tangy from the fruit. Death by chocolate cake was perfectly baked with the right amount of goey-ness and cream to go with it.
What a fantastic food experience at VAPIANO– Edinburgh. We were over joyed with the experience, food, service and ambience.
